National Advertising Sales Representative - accepting applications for future openings

Angie's List is searching for an experienced National Advertising Sales expert within the print and online disciplines, familiar with the latest forms of print and online media.  The chosen candidate will be hard-working with a passion to excel in our in this fast-paced industry. 

• Influence, sell, and execute our National Advertising process for various print and web advertising to National Service Providers and Advertising agencies.
• Originate new business as well as maintain and grow the inherited portfolio of high profile accounts (growth goals established at onset of employment).
• Understand and employ multiple analyses including cost and price analysis, ROI, cost/benefit as a consultative role with corporate media buyers and marketing constituents.
• Have a thorough understanding of print and web advertisement vehicles and how they may influence corporate goals.
• Apply effective negotiation strategies and techniques to the terms and conditions of contracts or other formal agreements.
• Make decisions by applying logic and information under a variety of conditions and circumstances.
• Successfully handle resolution of conflict.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have ability to interface with all levels of management internally and externally.  Expected to initiate and host webinars as well as speak publicly to audiences of 40+.
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts to achieve key business objectives. May also facilitate meetings and direct team projects.
• Travel: Less than 10%

• 3 + years of advertising sales experience
• Bachelors degree  
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft proficient

• Highly organized
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Strong consideration will be given to candidates with 3+ years of advertising sales experience to national corporate and franchise-owned service providers (ex. ARS Service Express, Roto-Rooter, Case Handyman, etc.)
